Welll I was tempted to put in an offer whilst I was there but deceided against it as the showroom would be a bit had to get to...... and there was no racking, or forklift access....

Rebuilt my new transferbox (again!) went together perfectly this time. Seems a little stiff to turn by hand but I'm hoping this is because I've mixed different gears, from different boxes, with a mixture of new and old bearings etc etc.

Worked some OT at work.
Migrated some servers from one Virtual Environment to another.
Re-did some network cabling
Replaced some batteries on a UPS. Turned the UPS(APC 5000) back on and it tripped the circuit breaker in the machine room. In the end had to swap out the UPS with a spare (APC 3000) and this time didn't trip the circuit. So will have to arrange to get the sparks in to replace the breaker with a less sensitive one. Then replace the UPS with the correct UPS.

When I got home, I had a look to see why the drivers door on the Landy felt like it was not closed properly....The reason being was because one of the bolts that holds the striker plate in place had sheared so the striker had moved...So new bolts. For now I have take the ones from the back door., and finally oiled the seat runners

The last Halon's we had in work got set off by the guys replacing some of the roof tiles....Bang.! ceiling tiles fell out and some of the server ingested some of the dust from the tiles...Now we have some other system in place.

It was OK, hotel was nice. Not much in Girvan itself. Very little rain, no falling snow and some ice.
Some snow on the ground coming through D & G forest and over the hills.
Isle of Arran was wet....
Then came back down the coast, Cairnryan, Stranraer and down to the M74 > M6
Overall a good break.
Regards.
