Today I dug out the welder ready for when my mate come over from Spain to collect the rest of his stuff as i have some seat brackets to make for his Discovery so Range Rover Classic seats can be fitted instead.

Sorted out the house insurance and saved £200 on the renewal price :-) and made even more of a saving as we get £45 cash back!
Regards.

Removed the heater to find various bits broken and missing.

Things like all the screws and bolts bar one are missing, only 2 spring clamps are on the heater and the vents at the top, the housing is broken.

Today I spent most of the day recovering data off a mates HD. Decided to take it to work so I can leave it running, I started it at 8am, it was still going at 16:40 when i left. Ended up with 3 external HD's plugged in and spent some time re-arranging data of the drives to make room for the recovery.

Finally got around to arguing with it enough that I got the CISS on my printer to actually behave itself. I'd previously been having a lot of trouble with ink running back from the heads to the reservoir causing air locks. Problem appeared to be the filters on the air vents for the tanks not acting so much as vents, but as plugs. Couple of tiny holes poked in the filter membrane with a pin and normality has been restored.

Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Today I mostly spent the day helping a mate remove an engine from a crash damaged Mitsi L200. Got the engine out after removing (read chopping) the front slam panel off, bent radiator, twisted oilcooler, damage aircon rad and pipe work.
