That's bad luck - I had booked to go on the Monday.

If you and BazBaz have firm plans to go Sunday maybe I could contact the organisers and change it to Sunday.

Would be good to have a line-up of pre-Riva Lada's.

Lada enthusiasts would have spotted it's a steering wheel from an early 2101. My car came with a later sports wheel which I hated. Steering is heavy enough without reducing the size of the steering wheel! I liked the chrome horn ring on the 2101's and managed to track down a second-hand one from Hungary.

Back seat well rotted due to sun damage. Still looking for a replacement.

My word that's a brilliant one inside. Still surprises the amount of bits I can recognise from the Niva/Riva though. Lada really were great believers in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy, weren't they!

Steering wheel absolutely looks the part I think.

As for the rear seat, probably a hard one to track down I'd imagine - I assume the seat's different to that in the Riva? Have you looked into the possibility of getting the existing seat re-covered? Never had this done, so I've not the foggiest of the costs involved.

Unfortunately as a former Skoda Estelle owner, I'm all too familiar with the sun-rotted seat problem, as their seats also dissolve if you even let them see the sun for a couple of seconds.

New MOT today. Can't believe it's been twelve months already. Passed with no problems.

Still looking for a new back seat (see photo above).

Unfortunately I have been keeping the car on the drive as I only have one garage, so have reluctantly decided to sell the Riva. It's a 1993 1500 estate. I have had it for three years. It's had one previous owner and has been garaged from new.

The mileage is very low at around 6,000 - all previous MOTs to back this up. It has four new tyres and brand new starter motor fitted within the last 3,000 miles. I have had it serviced twice - the oil is so clean you can hardly see it on the dip stick.

I tried to upload some pictures but ImageShack seems to be playing up tonight. There is around ten months road tax and three months MOT. The car is very very tidy indeed.

Anyone seriously interested let me know. Price is £850. You will not be disappointed with the condition of this car.
