Very sorry to hear about John. I've only just found out as I've not been on the site for a long time since I sold my niva. John was the first person to speak to me at my first off road event I attended with my Niva, and his help, guidance, and patients was always valued.
My condolences go to Johns family.
Regards Ian

it was a very nice, fitting service for John. the place was packed and the wry humor would have made him smile.

RIP mate. and thanks for being there.

Just want to say, on behalf of myself and family, thanks for all the condolances and to those who attended today. Was a lovely service and quite fitting. Hopefully he would have approved.

James ran shotgun which was noticed and made many people laugh. Mission accomploshed.

We had his music playing. People laughed. Mission accomplished.

We told of some of the stupid things he did. People laughed. Mission accomplished.

We got a vicar swearing. People laughed. Mission accomplished.

People got around and had a laugh catching up and sharing stories. Mission accomplished.

All in all I think it was a fitting celebration of his life and a good testimony for the good he achieved. He will be in out minds and hearts for a long time to come, so long may he live within us all.

Cheers to the Hoodoo......

Ditto that from me. I never had the pleasure to meet John personally, but I have seen his influence throughout this forum and can see how many people he touched.

Godspeed.
