John, was meaning cutting out just the Niva and it's occupants from the background. Can see if I can make it into something more like an engraving as well, not so sure how well I can do that though! Will give it a shot though.

EDIT: Image is now on my PC, will spend some time later this evening and tomorrow morning working on it.

Just asked my mate to have a pop at it. Few attempts at it by different peoples would be good.

Would have a go but I make Ged look like Van Gough. Give me a hammer any day.

Sorry I've been slow, lost one and half days this weekend to a migraine!

I've got a first draft mostly done, just struggling to get ghe wheels looking right. Can show you where I've got to if you wish. Not sure whether to blank out the background through the windows...may do one with and one without and let you choose.

To be honest I'd say don't worry too much about the detail, the complexity probably won't work. Think the key detail is in the shape and the number plate, anyone who knows will know....

After speaking to Ged also I'm going to try "borrow" some aviation grade SS for the plaque as it should prove more weather and corrosion resistant.

I'll do both versions then. Should have something up tomorrow afternoon/evening (generally only then I have any spare time sadly!).

Still narked I lost most of the weekend, had hoped to have this done for you by now! Disappointed with myself.
