bonet cut for snorkle

Post by iain couttie » Fri Jan 06, 2012 6:24 pm

i managed to get a snorkle for my niva, when it arrived i was expecting to have a template for cutting the bonet, there was not.I am looking for advice on the best way to go about it without making a mess of it.If it makes any diference it is made by a company called goliath and was bought from istambul.

The normal way would be to drill holes at the corners of the required cut-out and either use a jigsaw or snips to do the straight lines. If you're being really picky you cut about a centimetre shy of what you actually need and then fold the centimetre back to give you a nice edge.

You should be able to make youself a decent enough template from card and the end of the snorkel.
