I am sadly going to have to sell my Niva, it's a 1994 1.6 with less than 40,000 miles on the clock, only had one bit of welding as far as I know (drivers side rear jacking point / sill) and only wants one more (passenger side of same). MOT and tax ran out in August this year, and due to lack of time I have bought a Jeep Cherokee instead.
Needs. Rear Wheel cylinder changing (part included), Clutch slave cylinder (drives ok as long as topped up), welding as mentioned (could do this for a good buyer), probably a few electrical gremlins sorting out!
Good bits, new clutch kit fitted, less than 1000 miles ago, VERY clean shell I have kept sanding/ grinding out rust and just brushing red oxide primer on, so can be seen where it was, nearly new tyres, unfortunately just taxi tyres, but seem to work well. original apart from the radio I think. It is a Niva.
Bad bits, Oil pressure sender sticky, so shows no oil pressure most of time, but causes no problems, I have used as a works van so boot area quite marked. Spare tyre holds air, has tread but is knackered. Usual edges, e.g. bonnet front, tailgate bottom could really do with a proper repair to stop the rot.
