Re: looking for a niva

I had contact with someone during the last few weeks who was selling one on PRELOVED, but if I remember, they're right up in the North of Scotland and she ain't a runner. Think they were wanting around the £500 mark for it. I did advise them to post it here, but seems they haven't taken up my sugges...

Re: niva forsale £700

Hi, could you tell me the mileage please and general engine condition?

What's the rest of the bodywork like, still any rust that needs sorting or, have you done all of that?

Cheers

Bosch Common Rail Fuel Pumps

I must admit, I had NO IDEA what one of these was until recently. I have this Renault Trafic 1.9 TDi van that I look after for some folk that left Bulgaria to go back to the UK. The van was in bits in a garden when I took it on as the first thing that needed fixing was the regulator part of the Alte...

This gets better and better!!! We expect about eight vehicles there from the NNOC, of which probably three or four will be Nivas. Approximately sixty (60!) Land Rovers will probably be in attendance as well!! We've got 'em beat!! :D Regards, 55 of which will no doubt be on their second Bulkhead and...

I don't know what the difference is, but the German model has the newer Lada badge and new mirrors and the Swedish version has the older style Lada badge and crap mirrors. Try the Greek Lada site, it is all in Greek, but they have a Polar or Arctic Niva all done out in white and it looks nice, but t...

What model is the 2010 currently being sold on Mainland Europe? The ones that I am seeing in for sale in Greece, Germany & Bulgaria are from 7.5 to 11k Euros. I personally think that this is too EXPENSIVE and prefer to buy mine at least 2-3 years old for much much less. Mind you, there are always wa...

Drove over a big rock and dented my sump guard. The daft thing is, it was my own rock marking the edge of my territory and its painted WHITE, but I didn't see it in the overgrown grass. Then, after getting the Niva off the rock, I stormed off in a huff at my own stupidity, went too fast on g...

Obviously not a SALESMAN otherwise you would have washed it before taking the pictures!

What actual colour is it, dark blue or dark green? Do you still have the original bumpers tucked away somewhere? Current mileage, MOT, Tax?

Last night me and the Mrs had a very enjoyable meal in the http://www.chestergrosvenor.com/ Hotel to celebrate 5 years of being Mr & Mrs. 6 courses, a selection of fresh baked bread, a bottle of wine and two glasses of champers later we leave rather full after a lovely meal. Also left a bit lighter...

Thanks for the input guys, but I didn't explain myself very clearly. I have my OWN water supply from a borehole, but everything is plumbed in like you have at home. In addition, I have a couple of standpipes dotted around the territory for watering the garden that I can connect a hose to when necess...

Pressure Washers

Living Off Road and with the amount of rain we've had this summer, my Niva is permanently carrying a few kilos of MUD underneath. I'm guessing that I could really use a Pressure Washer, but don't know anything about them except they seem expensive to me. Kärcher is about the only company I am famili...

No rush as I'm still mixing my dipstick with my gear oil levels at the moment. I don't particularly like the external cage either unless it is multi-function. A more discreet internal one suits my preferences better. Will follow up your external link later - thanks again.
