I've updated my Weber swap page, and made it a more general guide to swapping Webers onto a Niva rather than just documenting my own swap.
I'd be grateful if people who know about Webers have a look over it to check it's all tickey boo. And if anyone who's done a swap I'd love any tips advice etc you have that I don't (especially on jetting).

| Good point, I have many shots of random Weber swaps I'll upload presently. None of on own build though sorry as I don't have a camera phone, and work's digcam is a bit too expensive to have lying around a workshop. |

Great guide Baxter.
Would a webber give a 1300 Riva a power boost, and which one would be best for a 2105 (vacuum operated i think)? I like the sound of the mechanical operated secondry one giving better power but the "custom linkage" could be difficult.
I don't know whether its just me since no one else has mentioned it but, I could get the pictures to get any bigger.

I've no experience with the 1300 motor, but I'd be looking for a DGV off a 1300GT Escort or similar as my ideal used carb.
The linkage lever isn't too hard to make if you can grab something similar from a an old carb at a breakers; alternately I assume that a lever off a mech operated Lada carb would be correct size and fit. |

i had a riva 1200 with a weber that was fairly lively,
fitting a weber on my 1600 didn't make any improvement _________________ Aaron, Grantham <br>
