Yeah, I know he sold the Fiva years ago. Still, it would be great to have him here. _________________ Alejandro Gabatel

G'day from Christchurch. I own a white 1979 2103, a beige 1989 2105 and a white 1989 Samara.
Haven't owned Ladas long, but they seem to be reliable. |

Morning All
I have 2 lada niva's and a shed load of bits
Have had one lada for years and have recently acquired the latest one which has a fiat 2lt motor in it. It seems to go quite well but needs a little bit of work to tidy things up.

Tinfoil's still sitting in the wksp, no real bites. It may take a while to sell it.
Yes the new lada is cloggys old one. Needs a bit of a tidy up. Over the last few years there has been a fair bit done to it to solve various issues, or things added then not cleaned up in the best way, so there will be some rewiring and re adjustment to happen. |

| I also have a Twin Cam Fiat engined Niva, mine is without power steering but am thinking of adding that along with a series of mods. |

Well I have a spare front engine pulley if you need it, to fit the belt.
Are you using the standard radiator? I was thinking of fitting a larger one I stuck in the old 1600 |

I have a Fiat Croma engine in the offing and a Lancia Thema engine for parts , i do not need the engine pully but thank you for your kind offer.
The 132 type engine pulley attaches a tad differently to the Lancia engine power steering pulley.
I have used the standard Niva radiator and fitted it with an electric fan from a 2105 Lada car.
Make sure you use a new thermostat and radiator cap and flush the cooling system, i use as a flush pure lemon juice, i buy it from the supermarket and it comes in yellow bottles (99.9% pure), pour a couple bottles in and run for a few days then flush the cooling system, this has worked for me in all the Ladas i have owned. |

Ta
I know the lemon stuff you mean, I use it in my cooking .
Stu ( the previous owner) seems to have a system that is working, just thought I'd ask in case yours was better. It sounds the same, just a lil different.
