
Folds down pretty much flat with the bar too, so won't get snapped off when in the garage hopefully. ...Cost all of four quid anyway, so no biggie even if it doesn't last long. Doesn't seem to vibrate too much and holds its adjustment just fine it seems too from the brief trip out today.
Also found an old wired cycle computer in one of my boxes of bits which I will probably fit tomorrow. The current wireless one is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. It looses comms with the pickup half the time, and the battery seems to last on average about three and a half nanoseconds. It's also got a capacitive button to change modes, which activates randomly when it's either slightly damp or slightly staticy on a dry day. Hopefully using something a bit lower tech will solve this problem.
Oh...also when we had the snow, I answered the question of whether you can in fact do donuts in a C5, the answer is that yes, you can.
