It is with deep regret that due to unforeseen circumstances with my car storage, I am putting my recently aquired Lada Riva Estate up for sale.

I purchased the car from Jen and Kieran back in June last year and apart from transporting it back to Leeds, it hasn't moved since

The car is located in a secure storage warehouse in Morley, just outside Leeds.

The car comes with 6 months MOT and no tax. It will have to be trailered away as it is currently SORN and not insured.

Here is a run down of whats for sale:

1991 Lada Riva 1500 L Estate
Blue Exterior
Black Interior
Just under 30,000 miles
Currently fitted with very old Russian tyres on original steel wheels

Since owning, I have accumulated the following parts which will be included in the sale:

- a spare pair of s/h headlights
- a pair of s/h lower wishbones
- a pair of s/h upper wishbones
- an aftermarket steering wheel boss
- brand new parcel shelf and side plastics
- brand new choke cable

I am asking for £900 or nearest offer.

Could possibly have been interested in the next couple of months as I'm pondering picking up an estate of some description to assit in transportation of the dog we'll soon be getting (as I need on occasion to be able to fit four adults as well, and neither the Saab nor Skoda can manage that) - sadly no way I would be able to get things organised before then as it requires a house move and another vehicle to be sold first to make way for it most likely.

...Will still wait and see what the pictures look by and ponder then anyway!

Goodness...That's going back a ways!

Yes I did - duff electrolytic capacitor was the culprit. In the absence of a circuit diagram that actually matched what was in front of me or the patience to properly reverse engineer the thing I think I just changed them all (there aren't that many) as most were leaky when tested electrically and/or physically.

Performance on FM still isn't anywhere near as good as AM on this set - but that's mainly because the AM performance is so good.
