Today I mostly...

Spent the day at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Managed to split time between the areas pretty well I think.

There was a Riva on the rally stage as well! Will post a few photos on Sunday when I get home.

Now off to shower (think half the rally course has come home in my hair and clothes) then to fall into bed...been up since quarter to four this morning...it's now 22:43 and I've had about three hours sleep in as many days...
LOZ: Oddball cars, lighting information, and anything else I remember to upload!
Current fleet: 02 VW Caddy 1.9SDI, 90 Mercedes 208D Autotrail Navajo, 85 Sinclair C5, 78 Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6GL, 73 AC Model-70.

Yesterday cleaned the front room carpet and today the back room carpet... Amazing how much grit gathers in the pile and how much does not get removed by a normal hoover!

Managed to install Twonky to my Terastation and can now stream films/music to the TV :-)

Took three of the kids over to Ipswich to see my sister and to borrow one of those roof box things, a nice empty A14 on the way back, 3 kids in the car, roof box on, kepping at a steady 70 and I was the slowest person on the road! I think I was overtaken by everybody.

Went to the Greystokes Stages rally in Penrith. A dry, dusty and warm day. One winching job, an upturned Evo in a ditch and then a straight tow of a MKII Escort.

Ouch. Never fun when you have time to see it coming! Had that with my first (and so far only) accident. How much was left of the car?

It had all four wheels attached, front end took most of the damage, wings, bumper, bonnet dented roof as well I think. Engine looked ok, intercooler, survived as did the rad.
