simon- looks can be decieving unfortunately!! the wiring has been butchered so many times to add pointless crap to what should be a basic car that its getting to the point i want rid of the whole loom. the exterior tho looks ace, proper retro! and pretty much no rust at all except for where the paints blistered

Did a job in one of the Crematorium offices and got covered in dust.
Had one of the hydraulic lifters repaired, new seals, re-greased and chain adjusted.

Today i mostly thought about connection between lada/offroad and IT engineers.

There's far too many people i know and also on this forum, which proves my connection. I think that is not a coincidence and there must be some strong connection. But why?

The site has a slow line and they have a couple of databases that they run, the server also does file and print duties.

Thin clients have been tested in the main office....But we will see.

We do have some VDI terminals in the office but TBH I think they are crap for us. Maybe more suited to sections were software is static as are settings etc.

This afternoon, one of the blade servers fell over :-(
On rebooting the server, the disk controller failed in initialise. Ahahh get one from the 2nd blade enclosure and swap out the controller card....Nope. After much swapping around and testing drives, cache memory it looks like a faulty motherboard in the blade server.
Regards.

Fell in love with that bike.

Oh my god. I LOVE the design.. The machine is 80ccm, max speed around 50mph. But just look at it.. It's perfect for easy driving around and discovering :)
