Called the guy, seemed a nice guy. He has it elsewhere up for £2750.
Way out of my range but i really had to hold myself back from calling the bank and seeing what they could do for me.
Someone near me buy it please so i can drive by and look at it.. Larry, sorry.

Got to less than half its reserve price. A shame. I would have liked that car if it had a more realistic asking price.

Ahhhgh, knew i should have watched it. I took it for granted Larry was worth the asking price.
Having loads of trouble with people over valuing old cars. Just drove 180 miles round trip to see a car with some surface rust and the arches fell off in my hand in a shower of dust. Another guy advertising as mint emailed me photos of a rust bucket too.
Think Larrys owner was genuine guy so no reflections on him but I got to think about putting some low offers in on tidy cars or i'm gonna find myself stuck in the overpriced rust bucket market!

You could buy a new one at that price
Aaron, Grantham <br>
Riva1600SLX (floorless example, sadly not a spelling mistake)
Citroen (surprisingly quite good) C3
Nissan (it's only for towing the caravan) X-trail
Simson S51

He could be back for a while at that price. I have put one bid on it. £1,500 which I think is fair. It has rust and is not in "mint" condition.
