Riva wanted
Hi Emyr,
I've got a Riva estate J-reg for sale in London / Portsmouth. I'd like to get £200 for it as it's taxed and MOT'd until January 2008, and I've fitted a CD player and a new exhaust. It doesn't need any attention at all (except maybe a new rear door hydraulic prop thingy, but they are only a few quid). My email address is L.steel@nhm.ac.uk

riva
Hi Emyr from Cardiff, and everyone else reading this post.
Lada Riva for sale in London, but it's going to Hampshire on Saturday and it probably won't be coming back to London because my insurance is changing over to my other car. It can be viewed at Wickham, near Fareham. That's on the A32 and not far from the M27. Asking price £250 but open to offers. Long MOT & tax and lots of shiny new parts.

oh you are welcome, glad to hear that you've carmed down a little bit now. yeah she was a lovely little car it had sat in a garage for 16yrs due to my uncle having bad health and having to stop driving.Neil Chowney wrote:Lovely! I am now officially 'mellow' again!

lada please
hey hoodoo i do agree with that "showroom condition" was the only way i could think of telling peeps how tidy she was/is. but she definatley was/is a supurb little car. im so glad that john brought her, i think my uncle would have been happy with it?.Hoodoo wrote:Saw that Riva when John was taking it home. To describe it as 'showroom condition' would have been an insult - it was much better than that!
