Cleaned out my shed and sorted the tools. Switched the snowblower for the lawnmower and cleaned a mountain of assorted stuff and junk lounging around in the Niva. Cleaning up the parts strewn about in the other one is going to be an all day job i figger so it can wait till another day.
Chow for now.

I spent yesterday, helping rebuild, clean and grind valves on a Fiat Uno 1300cc head. oh and cleaned up the block ready for the head.
Today, a tip run and just stocked the chimenea with wood ready for a burning session later on.

Not much action on my post a couple of cars stop and then carry on. Pretty dull really.

But after being rescued did you drive home under your own steam or were you towed? Because if you drove home under your own steam you didn't break down, regardless of the damage!hoverfrog wrote:today I mostly broke down... got 'rescued' by french Johovah Witnesses (we have them here too!) and played car mechanics all afternoon with friends, rosé wine and large hammers!
From zero cars to 2 working Nivas - good day all in all, apart from the breaking down bit
