4:30am.... finally finished sorting and dumping in my spreadsheet the stuff for the meal claims and finished watching a documentary on the Russian "Chessboard Killer". Unreal!! Well off to bed.

Cleaned out my shed and sorted the tools. Switched the snowblower for the lawnmower and cleaned a mountain of assorted stuff and junk lounging around in the Niva. Cleaning up the parts strewn about in the other one is going to be an all day job i figger so it can wait till another day.

Chow for now.

I spent yesterday, helping rebuild, clean and grind valves on a Fiat Uno 1300cc head. oh and cleaned up the block ready for the head.
Today, a tip run and just stocked the chimenea with wood ready for a burning session later on.

Today i spent the day marshaling for the Aintree Sprint day (liverpool)
one of the cars was a Morris Minor featuring a Lancia Twin Cam 1950cc, with a volumex supercharger. 125bhp at rear wheels.
The quickest car of the day was a single seater,on the staight section he clocked 168mph in the speed trap.

Today i attended another rally. This time, Ty Croes - Anglesey.
Bumped into Matt and Avtovaz.. Hi chaps
Not much action on my post a couple of cars stop and then carry on. Pretty dull really.
Nearly hit a pheasant on the way home.
Regards.

From zero cars to 2 working Nivas - good day all in all, apart from the breaking down bit
But after being rescued did you drive home under your own steam or were you towed? Because if you drove home under your own steam you didn't break down, regardless of the damage!
