I took 600..... not sure the website is up to that sort of abuse..........

I might put a few selected ones up, once I work out how to shrink them from the 16.5 mpixel they are at present.......

A quick way I have found to shrink pictures in size is to find them in Windows Explorer, select the ones you want, righ click > send to mail recipient and then use the option to make them smaller, then when the new mail window opens, save off the attachments at the new size.
The above assumes the following

A) running windows
B) have a installed mail client such as Outlook or Outlook express.

Windows XP used to have a power tool called 'Picture Resizer' this is the equivellant for the newer windows OS's.

Adds a right click menu when you click on the file to resize the picture. You can choose what size to make it. Totally worth it

Yesterday I mostly...

[] Replaced the broken light fitting in the lounge.
[] Replaced the light fitting with the stupidly long cord by the coffee table that we all kept banging our heads on.
[] Fitted knife racks in the kitchen.
[] Replaced the bulb in the "Mains on" indicator on the heating controller (that had been bugging me ever since we moved in).
[] Assembled the bed in my room (which being one of those bed-over-desk things that's barely smaller than the room is a bit of a task).
[] Had a shot out (as a passenger) in an BMW i3. I have to admit to being highly impressed.

Today I mostly...

[] Watched the tree specialists taming the jungle that our garden had turned into in two years of next to no maintenance from the previous owners of the house. Looking quite a bit better now, though they still have some stuff to finish off tomorrow. At least the 70 odd foot tree that was less than two metres from the front of the house is now gone.

[] Bought a pool table, which I hopefully will be picking up on Friday.

BMW i3 has to be one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. I think I'd rather choose a Fiat Multipla over that. The i3 being electric doesn't help its case at all.

Remember we had a couple of them through the garage years ago and that even in standard trim they couldn't half shift. Fourtrack in 2.8TDi trim similarly surprised me, especially as they're usually seen doing about 35 everywhere.

Today I mostly...

1. Did a "dry" build of the built in barbecue that I will be building tomorrow to confirm that I do indeed have enough bricks. Will pick up the mortar tomorrow and put it together properly.

2. Attempted to enable to solar heating in our house to find that it was actually already turned on...so no idea what the previous owner was on about when they said it was turned off. Only thing that's off is a switch labelled "pump" on the control panel which doesn't relate in any way shape or form to the solar (was originally the circulation pump for the solid fuel fired heat store which no longer exists...nor does the pump). Both valves that need to be open for it to be working are, as are the three that need to be closed. Oh well, one less thing I need to do!

3. Changed the low temperature warning lamp for the solar.

4. Started cleaning the lockblock paving out back.

5. Washed the Saab and 107.

6. Reconnected the ducting from the fan to the outlet for the extractor fan in the en-suite bathroom.

7. Watched the snooker.

Edit:

8. Got my website back up and running (fingers crossed). Had to relocate the server from the other side of the house as it turned out the wireless coverage on the side of the house I had it in was too poor (granted, it is quite a long way and through four walls and a ceiling in terms of line of sight) - will probably pull some Cat 5 cable through the loft to the router at some point to deal with that. Server also seemed for some reason to be letting the hard disk go to sleep, but was failing to wake it up again, so was falling over. No idea what was going on there or whether it will keep doing it, but the fact it was dropping off the network then doing nothing can't have helped.

Edit to the edit...It has just dropped offline again, looks like the drive may be dying. Sounds like an excuse for a reformat and reinstall methinks, has been far longer than I had planned since it was last touched, and I might actually finally be able to get our NAS up and running reliably then. It's been flaky for no readily explicable reason ever since I set it up...about five years ago.

Edit to the edit of the edit...Problem found it appears. A dodgy USB cable of all things! Noticed that when moving it that I could spontaneously make the system reboot...Looks like it was shorting the 5V rail to ground. Goodness knows how long there have been data integrity issues there.

Finally got the roof rack installed back on the roof of the Landy after it was stripped and powder coated.
Next on the list is, attaching the four spot lights to go on the front of the rack.(2 x fogs and 2 x spots)

Weeded the back garden
Regards.

Dismantled, packed moved and reassembled the pool table we bought last week.

Goodness those suckers are heavy. Will level it tomorrow and then see how it plays.

Bit of cosmetic tidying to be done as well but that shouldn't be a problem.
