Somehow survived the flights back from holiday. Departed Lansing, MI at 19:35 local, arrived in Chicago approx 1 hour later, had about two hours there, then the eight hour slog from there to Heathrow, collapsed at a friends house for a couple of hours - then back on a flight from Luton to Aberdeen.

...Thankfully my flatmate gave me a lift from there to the flat or I'd have had to fork out £25 in taxi fares!

Sleep now...unpack tomorrow...after work. Blarg.

PS: Bloody freezing here after 25-30 degree C weather for two weeks!

Put back in the Bronco's pedal bracket, and spent 2 hours trying to get a small recess on the steering wheel stub to line up with the steering shaft so that I could reinstall its damn bolt... Without success.

Dremel time tomorrow.

Ordered the inner CV boot for the Cinquecento. It's inner joints use gearbox oil and the boot split the other day so it drove 5 miles home with no gearbox oil. So hopefully when the boot is refplaced and the gearbox is refilled the grinding noise will go away  .

Spent most of the evening trying to kick my PC into letting me display images on all three monitors at once. Thus far without success. I can get display on any two at once, but not all three.

If anyone can tell me how to get triple monitors working under Ubuntu on a Geforce GT430, please feel free to pipe up. Yes, I know that's not a very powerful card, but A: I'm not a gamer, and B: it was free.

I don't NEED triple monitors...but as I have three sitting here on the desk, not using all three seems a bit daft!

I've spent enough time chasing myself, xorg.conf and the nvidia-settings config manager around in circles for one evening though I think.
