The guy who's fitting my new living room carpet was supposed to be here nearly an hour ago. What's that about eh? I'm deliberately refraining from going into the garage and everything, and I've got a gearbox to change, new CV boots to go on and stereo for the garage to build. Pfff. Speaking of the garage, I had Channel 5 on my wee black and white tv in there last night whilst I was slowly poisoning my lungs with MDF dust, and some NASCAR came on. Now, I don't mean to disrespect the racers or the fans, but by 'eck is that a boring spectator sport. There they go. Around the oval. Again. And again. And...oh, I've just filed my finger off...

Yeah , know what you mean about the NASCAR racing - so repetative.
I find American wrestling equally irritating.
Whatever happened to good old english wrestling on a saturday afternoon with the likes of Catweazel, Jimmy Breaks, Mick McManus to name but a few.

The only American sport worth watching is naked mud volleyball. And maybe monster trucks.

If yer don't like NASCAR don't watch it! (yee haar!)
... and the main reason that you can't get the old wrestlers (didn't they make hot dogs?) back on the box is 'coz most of them are dead!
I've got to go now and listen to some plaster going off....

I do.
Jimmy Breaks, Mick McManus, Catweazle, Giant Haystacks - that was 'proper' wrestling - none of your hyped up american shyte.
I sold my first house to a lad called Steve Crabtree, he was Big Daddy's nephew.

4.00 pm on saturdays on World of Sport on ITV with Dickie Davies. It was religious viewing with my father shouting at the TV. Mind you it was better than the usual religious viewing in our house seeing as he was a Clergyman!

Dunno. Although it was just as contrived as WWE it was a laugh. Especially when people were chucked out of the ring and the grannies started beating them with their handbags and umbrellas.
