That Rapid has appeared a few times I think.

Even given the silly prices they are fetching now, that is a bit rich!

A vehicle to fornicate in perhaps
Its a FIAT Topolino. There were two outside a very rustic old cafe in Rome.

Lovely BMW 2002 today on the A5 Central Milton Keynes roundabout. Sounded nice too, exchanged waves with the driver as well which is always nice to see. No photo I'm afraid as I was driving.

Got overtaken today going down the H4 in Milton Keynes today by what I would swear was a De Tomaso Panthera. Never seen one in the metal before but can't for the life of me what else it could be.

"... not that uncommon..."? I have NEVER seen one on the road, and it was the only car I ever wanted as a boy. I still have a collection of photo's somewhere.

I keep forgetting to mention that I spotted 8 individual Nivas while I was in Zante last month. Took some photographs too, but I think we all know what a Niva looks like. :)

Not maybe as exotic as some things we've seen in here mind you, but I think this qualifies these days! Can't mind last time I saw one...

Few bits of rust, but generally looked pretty tidy.

Indeed...Not the most exciting car in the world in its day.

...Would far rather drive that mind you than the vast majority of the stuff that's about these days!

How about the Hyundai Atoz?

Pretty certain when I had to deliver one of those when I was at the garage that I decided that it was the most completely utterly soul-destroyingly hateful car ever made...

...It made the Daewoo Matiz I had to take back seem almost pleasant!

While I was out working on the Skoda this evening, what should I see driving past but a Chrysler Horizon...Didn't know there were any left!

Can't say what sort of condition it was in as it was getting dark and pouring down with rain...Sounded nice though (which is the only reason I spotted it, heard it coming up the hill and poked my head around the corner).

Also saw an E plate red Metro City-X driving through Inverurie today, with who I assume was its original owner behind the wheel given their apparent age. Car looked mint though, and they gave me a cheery wave as I went past the other way.

PS: Definitely see what you're saying GB about the Astra, it had the potential to be so much more than it was. Especially given that the Astra's little brother the Nova was such a cracking little motor. Especially when in unmolested stock form...Which sadly is a rare thing to see.
