Thought about putting it in "today i mostly" but didn't want too fill it with pics (not that theres many yet) / oooh and as usual I have a question
Pics first though
A few pics of buster
the new-ish engine
The progress so far
Bits removed
a bit of backround:
*Number of batterys onboard =4
*bus electrics 24v (12*2 in series)
*living electrics (heaters, light etc.) 12v*2 leisure batteries in parralel
*onboard alternator 24v charging bus batteries only
*spare 24v alternator from old engine
*spare 12v alternator from 2.5 Transit engine
And my question is whats the cheapest way of charging the lesisure batteries. My idea was to charge use the 12v alty but would I need a 'split charge' system? (braketry isn't a problem) I know that I would need a relay to charge through I was thinking of getting a 24v relay and using the 24v ignition signal to run the coil and passing the 12v charge throught the 'other terminals' (sorry doint know what they're called)
Thanks
