From the plate, single phase 230v, 2800 RPM, 2.2kw, 12.9amps

Not the best rating plate i've ever seen......

Agree with Neil.

However, what are the symptoms? Not the described symptoms - what does it do when you try and run it? Does the motor feel like the bearings are going?

With a motor like that I'd expect it's attached to a fairly substantial compressor and I'd be much more inclined to check the oil level in the compressor head.

everything works .....100% its just the bearings going ..so at least i know i can price them up and wont waste money on a motor i cant run on mains power ..or more than likely cost less to buy a new motor :-( for it ...thank you big time :-)
