I wouldnt say no.
The power light stays red and then when you unplug the adapter it kinda whistles!
Ethernet ports stay up for about 1 sec then drop again

It's now 3 in the morning and i have just finished cobbling together a semi-working alty out of the now three NFG ones i had

. One of these days i'm going to have to break down and get a new (to me) used one.
Also found out you can't go too long without juice with the TBI.. I used to get 4 solid hours of drive time with the old carb'd ones after killing an alty.... usually death by drowning

Just replaced the rear Procomp ES9000 shocks with standard Niva ones (suitably bracketed to lengthen them). That's the second set of ES9000s to spring a leak in six years - not good enough! So, from now on, standard Niva shocks will be used (damned sight cheaper and probably more reliable too!).

what does "suitably bracketed" entail?
I ordered my Procomps 14 months ago and still no sign of them....
it usually means that the mounting brackets (probably the ones on the axle) have been lengthened to allow the shocks to work normally with the lift kit installed. Simple way to find out where you must lengthen the brackets to, is to measure the shock on the stock niva from eye center to eye center. Then after the lift is installed measure that same distance and you will see where the center of the shock mounting bracket must be. It is mostly in proportion to the amount of lift.

At the rear you will need shockers with a maximum extended length of 22" - 23". Definitely no more. For a set of brackets you can either contact Scorpion Racing (and pay a lot) or have a word with Nivad. He has some on his Niva, which I'm sure he made himself, and they're better than mine, which are a temporary fitment. Hopefully he can supply you with a pair? Standard shocks are 19.5" fully extended, so you need brackets that raise the bottom by 2.5" - 3".
At the front, standard should be ok but be prepared for the occasional bump-thump on droop, which would indicate that you may need a pair about 1" - 2" longer when extended.
There's no need to go overboard with heavy duty items - after all, Lada did design the Niva to carry loads!

Went to the store today and on the way home blew the air shock we hadn't replaced on the Peevee. I'm not paying another $500+ for another OEM shock. For now I disabled the "ALL" system and will be attempting to get some Monroe MA818's. I found some for $65 for the pair but shipping is over $100

. I'll have to look into the cost at some of the local Monroe partners to see if i can get them cheaper in town.
Also helped change the valve cover gasket on my buddies 91 YJ

Gave the old girl an oil change, Adjusted the front end a bit, caster/camber on the RHS and Toe... Have to get it on a rack eventually. Dreamed about box section sills while staring at the fist sized hole in the drivers side front
Also Pulled the rear trackbar off my buddy's 91 YJ today too... What a pain in the rear as all the bolts were siezed solid in the bushings

I found the clutch on this one kinda on or off (very little in middle) with a 6 speed box it really flies.
We pulled wheelies trying to move with the backhoe attached. In the end it was the spare bucket strapped to the existing weights and me standing in the bucket to keep the front on the ground.

Fun & warm in the sun. In the shade of the caravan awning it was 25-32 Deg C.
Loading the backhoe was easy, that was done with a JCB Telehandler in the UK.
It was a struggle to unload the backhoe off the trailer using a pulley block and a tree for support and the fun and games attaching it. I spent 4 hours drilling two holes in 10mm steel plate slowly working upto 16mm drill bit.
The pillar drill was set on the slow speed and I was using oil to keep the drill bit cool.!

Got given a Navman F series Canada 310 FOC. It has a cracked screen

so not all of the touch screen works
