What did they fail it on? Getting like that everywhere now - must NOT alter manufacturer's spec!!

Even talk of it relating to tyre sizes!

In Hungary you have to have a new mot if you fit a tow bar...which you can't do yourself by the way, it has to be done professionally and have a certificate to prove.
You also have to have any window tints done professinally (with certificate to prove).
I wanted to fit a pair of Cibies to the Samara but was advised against it as it would attract too much attention from the Police and could result in my number plates being removed at the roadside. They must not be above the height of the headlights and no more than 40cm in from the outer edge of the vehicle and this would mean them protruding too far forward if fitted under the front bumper

Rally went well. Two recoveries
- Straight tow for a Scooby with a blown turbo.
- 45-60min winch recovery for a stuck MKII Escort that decided the best place to park was off the edge of the forest track at about 45degrees.
Started decorating the hall/stairs/landing.
Have come down with the start of a cold

Regards.

Mine's LHD John, so not a problem!
You'll be pleased to learn that the repairs we effected on the Wayfarer a couple of weeks ago are still holding up well. I think it will last. Went up there with Paul (Nivad) in his Disco, and I will say that LR products do ride the rough, bumpy bits , especially going up the Bady, a lot better than the SWB Niva! Thanks to Paul for his company, by the way - enjoyed the day!
And, before Matt gets involved, I will say that the Frontera handles that type of terrain better too!

Your're ok then John
Good to hear that the repairs are holding up. Any more on the list?
Maybe its the wheel base and a little softer on the springs?
Regards.

Finished painting the wood work upstairs. Now we have a ginger and white paint stripped cat after he managed to squeeze through the freshly painted spindles... The spindles now have a little ginger beard!!!!!
