Today took the wifes car in for MOT - It passed.
Then onto the Vodaphone store to get the wifes mobiles wiped and reset due to a Android updated creating issues when using a QWERTY keyboard.

Then a tip run and then onto re-oiling the decking.
Regards.

Today I got the 2nd coat of decking oil done.#
Went to the Wirral Classic car gathering and then went hunting for a new tent. Its a toss up between the Vango Icarus 500 or the Vango Calisto 500.

Absolutely right! This is one motor that should be kept going!
I think he now prefers the Lotus7 type car he's built! At least we can still contact him when we have problems. The only person I have total faith in re. Ladas!

My 1000mah 12v USB device arrived yesterday. Tried it in the car and the phone (SPV) wouldn't charge. Tried two different cigarette sockets and 2 USB leads and still no charge.(Yet I have a working in car charger for the phone which works)

Tried the wife's phone on the 12v USB device and the phone charged.
Then onto trying the USB leads and phone on the PC and the phone charged...Strange.

Today took the phone to work to have another look and test.
In work I had mains to USB adapter again 1000mah. The phone wouldn't charge.

Two hours later and much head scratching, googling and help from a mate who has been cracking phones and putting cooked ROMS onto phones. We got it sussed....

I think its down to certain pins not shorted to create the circuit.

You going to try it on yours?
