So, what was your first car?

I'll start off with the first car I really drove on the road.

1981 W plate Austin MiniMetro HLE.

Absolutely immaculate car, acquired for Ã‚Â£200 with all of 17K miles on it - despite the car being either 22 or 23 years old at the time.

A couple of years on, I traded it on on my first Lada...much as I liked the Samara, and the fact that it gave me the chance to get my Niva...I still really wish I hadn't sold the Metro.

Would buy her back tomorrow if I had the chance.
