Hi John i bought these strobes hopeing to mount them behind the grill at some point.Tested them and they are very bright even in daylight..

I will be interested to hear how you get on with these as I could do with some for the Landy when on the rallies. I will end up with 4 lights, 2 front and 2 rear.
How big is the control box?

John there is only an on/off switch.They go through three flash patterns automaticly.I bought mine purely for when im doing 4x4 response work in the winter months.Will let you know how they work out..

I will get a few pics for you John no probs..I think the more expensive strobes use a proper control box.I know the ones from the likes of emergency vechile solutions do out of my price range though..

Ive seen those strobes on vechiles before and when they are left as a perment fixture the lenses had faded somewhat.Saying that the ones i have might do the same.I would have prefered a control box to be honest perhaps i should look harder next time lol :D

I'm quite happy with the control being built in to the lights. They take up less room in the cab

Well...couple of days ago.

Whole bundle of old 8-track tapes to investigate some evening that I get bored. They were there, they were cheap and I was bored...Dangerous combination!
