Didn't buy, but didn't sell either. Total stranger tried to buy my Niva today. Offered £2500! It's still in my garage! :) Sounded Eastern European (ish).
Worth more than that to me; after all, where would I find anything as good for that sort of money???

Might have taken you up on that, except for the cost of parts! Unlike a lot of other people, I have a great deal of respect for the abilities of Fronteras, built on several trips with them in the Dales and Lake District. They can be quite formidable motors!

Not sure if this counts but...I used my mates ebay account to bid on a McConnel PTO powered circular saw bench for him as he has a bad connection....And won!

Dual mass flywheel
Spigot bearing
friction plate
pressure plate
release bearing.

the cost of a cheap Niva :-(

A used but fully working four foot high farm jack, for the grand sum of £10 :D

OK, so it was a fiver in petrol to collect, but still a bargain :mrgreen:

I really dont like those tyre valve flashers, unless its on metal valves. Had a valve rip on the front wheel of my bike doing 60mph with one of them fitted. Needless to say, the light unit got lobbed in the bin!

Other views may differ.....
