I have to agree this is a very good forum. I also own a Bay Window VW Camper and still haven't found a decent forum for technical help (you would have thought there would be thousands!!).
The Lada forum is pitched at the right level for people who use their cars and want to maintain and modify them. There is also a very inclusive feel, no one is told to get lost because there car isn't cool enough, or because their question is too stupid. The range of cars covered by the posts is amazing (totally stock Samaras, heavily modded Nivas, the odd strange Riva, rally cars, pristine show winning 2101s, and even an ocassional FSO!).
There must be something about Lada owners - I guess most of the d**kheads have already been filtered out by the Lada badge.
Keep it up everyone, long may our Ladas live!!!!!

John, regarding VW Campers - I have sent you a PM with a link to a work colleague of mine. He is currently into Bays at the moment. He has done some extensive restoration on them, hopefully he will be able to help or certainly know of where to get good info from.
If it doesn't work - hit it with a hammer. If that doesn't work get a bigger hammer.
