Hello, I'm not sure if this car is still where it is but it would be worth a try.

It's a 1991 Lada Riva, 1300 I think. It looks a bit of a mess from the photo & I'm not sure it's a runner so you'll have to check. One of its sun visors was being auctioned on eBay so I contacted the seller about & a few other things off it. The car is in a scrapyard in Hall Green, West Midlands B28 0SE, UK. This is the ad:

The detaila are all on there, happy hunting! I didn't get a reply from the email address.

There is a Riva saloon advertised in the back of this week's Practical Classics Magazine. It's described as immaculate. £500 ono.

Sorry I don't have anymore details. Nip into WHSmiths and look up the number.

Ah, sorry about that  Like I said it may be worth keeping on the backburner, you never know why they're breaking it. Alot of people still think there's no 'market' for Ladas & so scrap them. I'd give them a ring rather than email & find out, like I said I never got an email response from them...

Good Luck with your search though, it'll be worth it in the end :D

Regards

There is an Estate for sale, now, on this forum. Look under car sales.

It's in Worcester.

There is also this, advertised on RetroRides:

I have been looking all over, the white estate was a bit of a risk before knowing what the underside is like, I just hope I can find a good Lada very soon.

I had a look at one yesterday which was quite far from me and was really a waste of journey. It had been fillered up, water was coming out of the radiator cap, and it was overall quite bad, not a polite seller either may i add.

Sorry you're not having much luck :( I ended up going on the train to Shropshire to buy my Riva, a long way to look at a car, but I was lucky that it was owned my someone on here.

Where are you based? Have you tried asking the Lada Owners Club?

Regards
