Works Niva for sale

Post by 1969 and all that » Tue Oct 13, 2009 10:08 am

For Sale Ex-Works Niva Rally Car G242 PAG, built and registered 1990 by Lada UK (Satra Motors) Carnaby, for 1990 British Hill Rally Championship. One of two cars built, the other written off in rally accident. I bought this car two years ago off Ebay, there was no MOT and the "low mileage" engine was shagged (oval bores & cam with no bumps on it). Since then it has done very little exept have two MOT's, current one expires 3rd February 2010, and a Fiat 2ltr Twin Cam fitted at 5801 miles on speedo, now showing 6730mls.
The car comes with a host of spares and includes twin40 Solex's on Lada inlet with airbox and remote filter and a new unused Janspeed 4-2-1 large bore GpB "Works" exhaust manifold. Five alloys with road tyres and four fitted with big off road tyres. Spare wheel carrier and cossack wheel cover and lots of other bits and pieces.
The car is very solid with a bit of blistering to the bottom of tailgate, would look nice if it had a £500 blow over, has been completely overhauled on the rear brakes, wheel cylinders, shoes, handbrake cable and all pipes across axle. Full cage (Safety Devices) with removable Diagonal and door bars, Bilstein shocks all round. This is the ultimate weekend weapon and is unique because of its history.
If you want it and all the bits that come with it it's yours for £2000 absolutely NO offers and no whinging because it sounds too much, if it's too much you don't want it.
I am really bad on these forum things so e-mail me on lincoln1@rmt.org.uk or leave your number on answerphone 01522 545691 and will get back to you, will deliver for cost of fuel.
Cheers, Ade

not too far from me, mmm if only i had the spare cash. Too much for me to pay for a plaything though to be honest.
If it doesn't work - hit it with a hammer. If that doesn't work get a bigger hammer.
