There is a lovely Riva Estate on e-bay which is ending today! My advice wait to the last minute and put in the highest price you are prepared to pay. If you bid £1,000 and somebody else bids £500 you only pay £520! Be brave and get it.

They are definitely going up in price. A good honest example now hard to come by. Why pay £300 for a rust bucket and then hundreds of pounds and thousands of hours to bring it up to scratch! I paid over a grand for mine but it's like new. I would like to have got it for £200 but not realistic any longer.

I will watch the auction end and hope you get it. Let me know what happens. And don't forget if you look after it it will become an appreciating asset. They got as low as they could and now prices are on the up.

Yes that's the car. A lot of money I know. But I wanted it and love it. Can't take the money with you!

Will take a few this week and post them. If anyone knows of a Lada 1600 (twin headlight model) for sale would love to have one.
