Sitting around for 20 years waiting for the bodywork to be sorted...hope they've changed the timing belt...

Not really a major problem if they haven't. It's a "safe" engine, i.e. non-interference. My father had one break at 60mph. Cost £25 and a few pennies to supply and fit a new belt. Admittedly that was back in the 1990's. A colleague at work was most "put out" when I told him, (i.e. thoroughly p'd off). He'd just had one go on his BMW and the repairs ran into over £1600 plus VAT.
