They're really struggling to shift that one it seems. This is the fourth time I've seen it up for sale I think (maybe third?), having been through at least two previous specialist classic auctions.

I'd be after it like a shot if I had the money and space, sadly I have neither just now!

Still love the colour...

I would also love this but £5k, I think that is a bit rich.

Ladas are great and I love them but with a small fan base would you ever get your money back if you needed too sell?

A car's worth as much as someone is pepared to pay but do Ladas fetch this much?

Please correct me if I'm wrong.......

They can and on occasion do where a particular car is concerned. They seem to be getting a lot more sought after lately, and of course are only getting rarer. I've had three people in the last couple of weeks try to buy my Riva...

However - the right buyer for the right car needs to be there *when* the right car turns up.

I reckon £5K is optimistic - if I were selling I'd probably have that in the window, but realistically be expecting somewhere in the region of £3.5k to actually shift it.

Depends a lot on whether the seller is in a hurry to move the car on or whether they're willing to wait for the right buyer who has money to burn.

Being such an early car, in a cracking colour *and* not having been massively hacked about over the years, I still wouldn't be surprised really it after a while this one does fetch good money.

As for whether you'd get it back when you came to sell? It's the same gamble you take whenever you burly or sell classics isn't it!
