Niva wanted

Post by Neil Chowney » Sat Sep 26, 2015 9:30 am

I'm on the lookout for a 1.7i or a late 1600 Niva.

Needs to be structurally solid, and mechanically sound.

I'll consider anything though depending on the work required.

If anyone has one that they want to sell please let me know. This is not for me it's for a friend of mine which is why it needs to be uptogether.

Hi Neil

I take it you are too far away to come and have a look at mine? It is structurally completely sound and mechanically I have total faith in it. It is in need of some touch-ups and a bit of tidying here and there, but I imagine that is true for pretty much any car (that hasn't been restored in any way) of this age.

I'll even put some petrol in it...

Hannes,

Is this the twin cam or another 1.7i? Not sure from your signature if its one and the same.

What i'm looking for is a standard (ish) car as its going to be her daily drive and will be used extensively in fields etc, looking after the horses.

130 bhp with two bales of hay lashed to the roof is a bit of a worrying thought...... :D

Hi Neil

It is the twink, but you can always pull two of the plug leads off until she is used to the power...

Hi Neil

I have the car for you .
My wife and I drove the Lada 1700.i 2001 model across Sweden. Then pressed on to Iceland.
We are doing a residency and want to sell the car by the end of this month of October.
We have to head back to Australia by the 12th of November.
We bought it in Estonia.

Have a look on
