What do we know about this car?

I know its been for sale on carandclassic for over a year. Does anyone know anything about the history (other than whats mentioned in the advert)? Just curious and have no intention of buying it.

been watching it for a while, still up for sale, if i had that kinda of money to throw around, that puppy would find its way back to the states with me in 9 months when i leave italy

maybe seeing it better i would feel the same, from the pics it looks fairly fun, but the fact its not been picked up may indicate some problems
