Looking for Niva Stop me buying a pick up

Post by Nivafever » Mon Jul 16, 2012 9:26 pm

So I have moved the country. To lovely Dumfries and Galloway. At the moment I am commuting to the train station and Glasgow on my bike which is a 9 mile trip. I will not be able to do it in the winter. So I want a 4x4 for the autumn. I get excited about all the cars I wanted in my 20's. Suzuki Samurai, Fiat Panda 4x4, Mazda Pick Ups the vehicle I keep coming back to is the Niva. I am not naturally mechanical so I do not want a project. If there is anyone out there who has a Niva who is not ready to sell after giving it some care and attention please let me know. I am in no rush (I am enjoying the cycle) but as the nights draw in I will be looking in earnest. :D

If you don't mind the postage, why not have a Niva Pick-up? :P

Now, that`s what I would call a REAL pickup. This model Niva was originally marketed in the late 80`s/early 90`s, as the "beaut ute", and was popular in rural areas. Now they are as scarce as hen`s teeth, and the one featured is destined to be a unique classic. :)

Thanks Paul but I am looking for something capable of going off road but not not an 'off roader' It is a lovely vehicle and I am sure it will find a home.

No worries.

Probably why it hasn't gone...advertising it as offloaded.

It was my daily drive too work when it was insured. A real joy too drive.
Flarred arches are all that make it look different.

Hope you get right one for you mate.
