So, it's been up there for some time (since 6th January, originally for £4000).I emailed them a number of months ago (twice) and received no response. I called a few weeks ago, let them know I was over in mainland Europe and they said that;

a) they weren't prepared to give me the information I needed and
b) they couldn't give me the name of the company or an idea of how much it would cost to get the car shipped to Sweden because...

wait for it...the car might be sold "in the next week" and providing that information would be a waste of their time. Given it has been there since January, I don't think it is going to sell.

Has anyone been over to take a look at the car? Is it really worth this much given that a 2008 went last year for £2k and a 2009 went a few weeks ago on autotrader for £3k?
I picked up a 2006, granted it has 77k.km and requires some work, for £1500, but that was a lot cheaper than what they normally go for here (circa £5k). Just hoping to get your thoughts as I am flying over to the UK in late June and was thinking about swinging past this place and taking a look...or is it "a waste of my time".

Is it worth it? Simple answer ..... no.

Two tone paint was never an option so what is that hiding?
Why haven't they shown any pictures of the engine compartment?
Why is the fuse cover off the fuse box?
Where are the rear seat belts?
Why haven't they bothered their asses to give it a rudimentary clean?
Where's the paperwork?
Has it a French CT/UK MOT?

Walk away.

Point taken. I'll keep my eye on the usual spots. I'm over reasonably regularly and just found out I can freight them back to Sweden very cheaply with DFDS.

For what it's worth there are 4 or 5 LHD Nivas on the Agriaffaires website at the moment all in France and prices look reasonable not to sure where the departments are, though should be easy to google.

not sure if you are aware Madmax, but there are quite a few nivas for sale all over Sweden. The price may be a tad higher but at least you do not have to travel/register it and all the other crap that goes with importing. Plus it is far easier to check history etc. Best winter car you can have if you live in the wild!! Good luck mate. :D

Ja, I know, I have one of them :) The price is a tad higher, hence why I search the UK for lower priced, lower km and ones that have travelled less on salty roads 8)

Otherwise, blocket.se is my best friend :lol:
