he says he went down the road,doesn't say about the being towed back up the road right after. no way the extra weights makes it up.

Completely unnecessary. The crankcase gases are filtered by the air filter. The joint is outside the air filter element on the air filter box.

What have they done!!!
If you strip all that sh*t off it, you would have yourself a tidy looking Niva there, oh, and a few extra £££ from all that scrap metal!!
