The large top machine is a pillar drill. However, I don't see the steam engine that powers it.

belt driven machines i aint seen them for a while.

put me and family up and ill teach you too weld.

Shops for the misses and lada too play with sounds like heaven.lol

One could use the Niva to drive the pillar drill instead of the steam engine.Get it coupled up to the crankshaft pully :roll: Eugene

That's really cool, the only thing I got free with my house are some old Roy Rogers annuals!

I love the sound of using a Niva to power the drill :D

Have been busy with the T-Cut! Very pleased with the chrome. May replace the bumpers as they are slightly pitted.

Gave the underside a good thick coating of Waxoyl.

Longest trip was about 120 miles.

Very good acceleration but only a four speed gearbox. Great fun though. Reminds me of an old Morris Minor I once owned.

Hoping to take it to RAF Cosford, Shropshire in May for the WARTBURG / IFA DAY.

I think Martin is going. Anyone else planning to go?

BTW, RAF cosford museum is very good, has the new cold war exhibition and is FREE to get in!!!!!!!!
