all the non used parts (all the interior, all the glass, all exterior trim other than the chrome strips, went to a restoration project, the 1200 engine that had low milage went in a riva estate. i bought the car fair and square to put on the road. got arsed about with it so i stripped it for spares and raced what was left, once im done ill sell the likes of steering box, gearbox ect that may help keep another one on the road!! at the end of the day eveyone had the same opertunity to buy it as i did, so stop whinging cause it my cash so its my choice whether i road it or crash. BUT, if i wasnt messed about, it would still be on the road not waiting for a bit of stretching and welding ready to bend it some more. i suppose if someone had have offered me the right amount i would have sold it but i didnt even get offered scrap money, so i kept it and raced it.

thanks gadgetboy, and apologies accepted rob. i sold all the bits i could to keep others going strong (i even swaped the bootlid for a tatty one to help someones project), i would rather do that, race it, then scrap it after a proper blaze of glory send off than it just end up in the scrap yard and it get bailed full of spare parts, surely it works out better for you guys to get all the bits off it to keep your own cars going rather than just straight scraed and crushed??
