1976 Lada 2102

Due to some unforseen circumstances of late i am regrettably having to sell my Lada 2102. It's a 1976 LHD import. 1.2 litre. If you look back through the technical support section of this amazing forum then you will see alot of the jobs that have been done so far.

Past it's last Mot with only two new front tyres reguired and no advisorys, that said i had praticaly replaced or serviced every part of the beastie

Cooped well in last years snow, with the aid of some weight over the rear axle to help get grip.

Mot'd till mid next year and tax'd till end of the month, although if the asking price is met, i will put 6 months tax on her.

Box of service spares included.

I am asking £850.

Thanks, i have quite enjoyed the experience. i can also honestly say it has been a realy good reliable everyday car and not just some shinny show thing that is hidden away for 11 and three quarter months of the year

I may be jobless but sold two R25's and my van should be gone within the next week so i am able to hold onto my little russian for now

However i tore the carb apart yestarday (it was leaking from many a warped joint ) and the cars no going anywhere until i source the bits and with winter coming we will be relying on it the most, so i better get in gear and get it finished!

Hi there all.

Not been very active of recent but work on the lada has atleast progessed slowly.

Sadly though even after finding work and selling everything else own, the Lada must finaly go

The car is stored hour and a half away at my parents, who quite rightly want it gone, i have a family who come first (who could blame me) and work.

Think it still has Mot and is insured but on a Sorn.

The cylinder head parts are all there and ready to bolt on. The only reason it was stripped was a missfire caused by bad exhaust valves which have been replaced.

Complete spare 1600 engine with weber conversion thrown in.

Specs- Lada 2102 1976 1.2, 4 speed manual, yellow with Enzo aftermarket alloys that look in keeping. Brown vynl interior with tan high backed Niva seats for comfort on the long distance work.

Looking for £750 but open to genuine buyers offers.

Sadto see her go and actualy upset but as we used to say in the Navy 'Adapt and survive'.

Again this is a non runner due to the cylinder head needing refited.

Is it just the lack of a running engine thats stopping you from keeping it?

If so, i volunteer to help fix it sometime when your not working

2 hours tops would get the head on, timing done and engine running. (Well that's me)

Worth one more day at it just to get it running.

You owe it the the honour of leaving your ownership under its own steam.

It's not that it's not running, i like the idea to have something to work away on, it's more to do with life constriants and it's a complete waste to have it sitting there in the shed under a dust cover for the next 10 years

I am going to attempt to put it all back together and have it running right but thought i had better make the effort to advertise now as it may takesome time to sell.

I did not buy the Lada simply to flog on after i got bored of it as so many do with classics etc but instead bought her because she was cheap to run, pratical for carrying loads, good parts support (thanks Neil ), reliable (no matter what anybody says ) and also i could have pride in what i drove

Hi all again.

Last ditch attempt to find a new home for my Lada 2102.

Would rather loose money and it goes to a lada enthuist and good home.

Have reciptes for all new parts fitted, there's a complete 1600 engine and tub of new service spares included.

Mot ran out last week.
