Riva

Post by flytedsamara » Tue Jan 09, 2007 5:32 pm

I'm sick of driving a front wheel drive. I'd quite like a Riva either as a project or as a everyday driver to swap for my Samara. I'd even take a 1.2, 1.3 as I'd eventually plan a transplant. Any leads?

1200's are slow but rev like hell, fun to cane arount the lanes at 7500+ rpm. 1500's have low down power good for roundabout drifting.

My advice here is to keep your eyes on eBay, they do appear now and then. Especially down south - which given you're in Essex should suit you just fine.

...unlike me in Aberdeen...which is why I don't have one yet!

This one might be a bit too much work for me.

I think our Bavarian chum has put the decimal point in the wrong place. £400 would have been nearer.

Mind you it is like new and £4k for a car in that nick is still not too bad.
