What you need is a Lada !!... 8) ...

Now if you pm Geoff Stainer he MIGHT let you offer him a jigger or two of Vodka, AND give you an option on a very desireable and Rare, White 1300 Riva 5-speed Police Car with Blue 'militsia' Russian GAI livery; mit Bells & Whistles up toop & 'Blus-&-Twos', wig-wags on the headlamps, sirene, tachometer, & 3 seperate 2" instruments in a lil bracket. ...& a potential 40-50mpg to boot !!

Located I think in Teignmouth Devon, this Car is an International Legend in it's own Lifetime !!

MIGHT need a dust down and a bit of a polish, but it never really WAS 'kulturny' to over-polish a Lada, and they Come Up Lovely !

Baz... :P ...

I used to have a Maestro. It's always good to own a Maestro first, it makes the next car seem so much better ;-)

the maestro has a strong owners club, their website is as good to browse through as this one, maestros and ladas have 2 things in common they both rust and now both sought after i used to have a turbodiesel maestro that had power steering, liked it that much i bought another and the TD cars had the benefit of the maestro van higher suspension

The main difference between the Lada and the Maestro is that the Lada is bulletproof.......

My Maestro certainly was not.

But they both have that kind of unappreciated underdog vibe.
