if i rec=v it slowly it will rev its nuts off on the limiter ,, but if i mash it hard,,,, it reaches 4 and dies,,

if driving and kick down same thing, dies like ign swith off, tried airflow, new fuel pump, had it on a diagnostics machine, its just so annoying,, wont start then for a while afterwards,, i mean u really need to drive it with kid gloves,, even then could just conk out,,

i hace an s class merc, 3.2 litre petrol..
starts and runs lovely,, if i give it gentle throttle it will rev ok, if i try gun it,, it will hit 4000rpm and cut out like it was switched off,, any ideas,,
