Took our new (63 plate) 1.5dci 4wd Dacia Duster out for its first proper test drive. So far so good, will be the wife's chariot. Finally a 4x4 with a mpg that should mean it might be a keeper. Baxters niva website reckons the new Niva will be based on the Duster. Makes sense to me.

Sold the outlander I bought 2 months ago, in a lot better condition than when I found it. Going to Zambia via Bradford... Its a funny old world lol.

Rear silencer, 2 tyres, track rods + ends, drop links, d bushes, oil and filters... The outlander has a new MOT. 40 miles and is showing 19mpg....

Lovely niva in red. Ordered replacement rear box with fixing kit delivered for £60. Full day hoovering today to remove dog hairs etc. Full leather clean, headlamp sand and polish. Prob order drop links and tie rods tomorrow while wait for exhaust. Need more daylight, bloomin seasons...

Rear box completely missing... Hmmmm what a wonderful seller she was!

Yep, my mig set was originally bought for patching my niva years ago and is handy to have. Sadly not enough nivas to go around, did give a Niva owner my number last week so if ever came to me outlander would be easy to sell. Sadly niva online prices just keep going up and are never local. Already go...

Just bought a 2004 mitsubishi outlander. 89k 2.4L auto. 1 week mot. £450. Fingers crossed. (still prefer a Niva...). Blowing exhaust, rattly front bushes I assume and full of dog hairs. See how it looks tomorrow in daylight....

Saw niva at local fuel station yesterday, first seen for ages, gave him my number in case he ever sells....

Apparently not moved in 10+years, wheels locked on, engine not running....
