Re: How do you feel about Lada jokes?

Some make me laugh...

"What happens if you apply rust remover to a Lada?

The Lada disappears. "

Made a bit of a break through. It appears to be an ECU earthing issue. I found it by pluuging the diagnostic leads, it ran fine no light full power. Not quite sure what the problem is the two earths to the ECU are fine and its bolted to the chassis but for now i have grounded the earth pin in the di...

Its the girlfriends we've had it about a month and a few times when cold the engine light has come on and there has been a drop in power. More recently this has resulted in it stalling, but we came t...

I don't get why someone would take a perfectly good Lada and try and Lower it to the ground or customize it, seems like I've seen this before Two Tan Lada Estates in the fairly recent past that probably would have been Great Cars if the owners would have just left them alone. Yeah I'm sure they cou...

Ordered the out rigger from Neil :D
Whats everyone's opinion on primer?
Zinc Phosphate? Weld through?
Some parts will obviously be inaccessible after I have welded it all up so it needs painting first.
Thanks Dan

Ordered the inner CV boot for the Cinquecento. It's inner joints use gearbox oil and the boot split the other day so it drove 5 miles home with no gearbox oil. So hopefully when the boot is refplaced and the gearbox is refilled the grinding noise will go away  .

Thanks guys, I tried the soapy water, the ratchet strap and the tesco(BP,JET and SHELL) garage pump, but the tyres so skinny it just wouldn't have it so I took it to a garage the guy there sorted it for me with a real compressor  , and a seat cover  . He wedged it between the tyre and th...

tyre seating/sealing

Hi I'm in the middle of replacing my rear bike tyre and can't get it to seal on the rim. Im only using basic tools and at the minute only have the LADA pump.
IS there any way of getting it to seal without a compressor or lighter fluid  ?
Thanks Daniel.b

well... the other day bought this http://www.thewelderswarehouse.com/Welding/Clarke_135TE.html (not from this site but machinemart won't load) And today attempted welding for the first time, a few bits of mild steel 2-3mm thick. Cant break the welds with a hammer so I don't think I've done too bad :...
