Re: Niva wanted

I guess there are some to be found then. Are prices still relatively reasonable or are they starting to attract premium tags?

Wanting : The Niva bug is itching

Seriously considering getting another. Don't mind travelling to get a decent one, but I wont be conned into paying over the odds just cos its got a little chilly. Having said that if it is top notch I wouldn't mind paying that little extra. Hussar, Cossack, Cabrio, Pick-up, anything considered 1600c...

I think it says RHD may become available. That price doesnt include registration either if i remember right but the guy would supply neccessary paperwork for the buyer to complete.

For real ride comfort, if you are intent on changing, how about a mk1 C5? The HDI's are good on economy and with main dealer offers the second hand market for citroens is priced accordingly.

I must admit I did find my niva a little uncomfy on stock seats, but that was due to a spinal problem I had a few years back. That is a small bearing David - probably manufactured and installed as such so that it does give problems and promotes appliance renewal. Not everyone is mechanically minded and I would think that the average Joe would possibly purchase another machine as opposed to have a go repairs. Well done mate.
